The Wisconsin Society of Professional Engineers (WSPE) honored Innovative Packaging Corp. with the Best of State Governor's
New Product Award for the small company category. One of 38 Wisconsin companies to compete, IPC was cited for its new
product development of GrafXflüt. GrafXflüt (G-Flute) is the smallest fluted substrate produced by a corrugator and was
specifically designed for direct print folding carton applications.
In addition, Innovative Packaging Corp. won a special award for "Revenue Acceleration: Zero to 60" during the 1998
Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year awards ceremony. The company was lauded for having exceeded its own
production objectives and growth into a $24 million business by the end of 1998, its first year of operation. New
technology, customized training and innovative management techniques are said to be key to the company's success.
